1. Calculators and scores

Alessia is a professional education and portfolio service. It is not an electronic health record, emergency service, diagnostic service or substitute for a clinician's independent professional judgement.

Calculators, scores, formulas, classifications, reference ranges, interpretation bands and related descriptions in Alessia are supplied only to support education and retrospective portfolio documentation. They must not be used to diagnose, assess, triage, monitor or treat a current patient, determine whether a patient should be admitted or discharged, select an investigation or treatment, or delay professional advice or emergency care.

Calculator content may:

• be simplified from, or differ from, the original publication;
• be inappropriate for a particular population, jurisdiction, speciality or version of clinical guidance;
• contain implementation, transcription, source or software errors;
• become outdated; and
• be withdrawn or changed without notice for safety, legal, licensing or regulatory reasons.

Users must check the formula, inputs, units, assumptions, exclusions, interpretation and current source material independently. A reference link does not mean that the author, publisher, regulator or professional body has reviewed, approved or endorsed Alessia.

Alessia does not verify that a person registering is a clinician, is licensed, is competent or is authorised to provide patient care. No person should rely on an Alessia profile, entry, assessment, signature or report as proof of professional status unless independently verified.

2. AI-assisted features

AI-assisted features may transcribe audio, summarise content, draft structured entry content, identify possible competency mappings or highlight portfolio patterns. Alessia will identify AI-assisted drafts or suggestions in the relevant workflow. AI output may be incomplete, inaccurate, misleading, biased, duplicated or based on an incorrect interpretation of the user's content.

AI does not make clinical, academic, employment, credentialing or progression decisions. A user must review, correct and approve AI output before relying on it or saving it as final portfolio evidence. Institutions and assessors remain responsible for their own decisions, verification and appeal processes.

Users must not include patient personal data in prompts, recordings, images, documents or other material submitted to an AI-assisted feature unless a separate feature-specific institutional authorisation applies to the identified Tenant and processing. A Patient Data Addendum alone is not sufficient. Submitted content may be processed by approved transcription or generative-AI Subprocessors as explained in the Privacy Notice and Subprocessor and Service-provider List. That list identifies the current providers, processing locations, deletion or expiry settings, any limited safety or abuse retention and the applicable model-training restrictions. Alessia does not approve a provider to train its general models on Alessia API content.

3. Error and safety reports

Report a suspected calculator, clinical-content or AI safety issue promptly to support@alessiahq.com. Do not use the affected feature while the concern is unresolved.

Alessia may investigate, suspend or remove affected content immediately. Where appropriate it may notify users, institutions, publishers, regulators or other legally relevant parties.
